The Avro 504 and all its variants is one of the most important aircraft ever built. Designed by A.V. Roe in 1913 it evolved and grew into the most widely used trainer up until the 1930’s. With more than 10,000 built all over the World, the Avro 504 taught more pilots to fly than any other pre WWII aircraft. This web site is dedicated to the 504’s place in aviation history.
